What brought you to mind body training?
I was diagnosed with scoliosis at 12 and lived a life marked by debilitating chronic back pain. In an attempt to avoid spinal fusion surgery and improve my posture, I entered the world of restorative movement. This decision changed my life. I defied the odds and avoided the surgery everyone told me was my only hope. Instead, I discovered the amazing fascial system, the transformational power of neuromuscular repatterning and structural integration techniques, and the central role of my mindset in the healing journey. I now live free from debilitating chronic pain and move effortlessly. As I’m aging, I find I am moving more efficiently, gracefully and fluidly, which keeps me feeling vital and young. I am about to turn 50, and I feel better than I did in my 20’s: physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually. For me, Pilates was the portal to this place of vitality. It is my joy to empower others to defy their own odds and support them as they reclaim their personal potential. I look forward to meeting you and hearing your story.

I have fallen in love with the beautiful Canadian landscape and enjoy being outside all year round. Since I moved to Canada, I have learned to snowboard and skate. I love to portage, swim, hike and canoe. Being in nature helps me stay grounded. When I can’t get outside, I train on the silks at the circus. I love to take long walks with my friend’s dogs and live my life to the fullest.
