My passion for Pilates started in 1998, when I lived with chronic back pain due to a severe scoliosis. The year prior, during my last doctor's visit, I was offered spinal fusion surgery as an option to deal with the constant pain and deviation of my spine.  Due to my numerous physical limitations, many of the Pilates exercises had to be modified... and that's how I entered the world of restorative movements, proper biomechanics, the amazing fascial system, neuromuscular repatterning, structural integration techniques, and the mind.

I was a "gym rat" once, and a track and field runner. To my disbelieve, I came to realized that while some aspects of my gym routines and training were important, they needed to be  carefully applied. In my case, they were contributing to my spinal deviation and ever-increasing aches.

Ironically, what was once my worse enemy (my spine), has brought me to where I am now: teach Pilates and GYROTONIC®.  These are modalities or tools intended to improve and restore one's spine to its optimal health.  I also own and direct The Loft.

ABOUT MY CLIENTS
I work with wide range of people, however my clients are typically dealing with conditions such as scoliosis, disc herniation, knee fusion, hip replacement, postural issues, chronic back pains. My specialty is rehabilitative movements and I tend to bring people to a place of comfort so that they can enjoy the things that really makes them happy.

EDUCATION and INFLUENCES

I'm bilingual in French and English. My original education was in France where I received a College Diplomat in Administration and Bookkeeping.  In Canada, I first worked as Bilingual Customer Service Representative and worked my way up to Executive Assistant for various VPs and Directors for major companies like Lyonnaise des Eaux and The Toronto Star, where, during my last year of employment, I discovered Pilates. My new profession has been influenced and inspired by the following:
